So far 1825 Bavarian communities have joined SISBY which is improved and extended continually. Unlike other site information systems, SISBY is meant to serve only as the starting tool for business looking for a suitable site. Behind it there is a whole network of qualified and competent consultants from the Chambers of Industry and Commerce, the government, administrative districts, local authorities and the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Transport and Technology.
  • In 1984 the association of Aktivsenioren Bayreuth e.V. was founded. They  are a group of retired leading managers in industry and administration who are willing to assist anybody needing help concerning setting up and maintaining business. Their slogan is "a guiding hand to self-help".
  • The "Gründerportal Oberfranken" was started by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce to further the entrepreneurial spirit of our region and to create an atmosphere in which people are willing to star new businesses. The "Gründerportal" is aimed at encouraging entrepreneurial action and showing ways of acquiring necessary know-how.
